Real Illusion....

What keeps us living?
What keeps you living?
What keeps me living?

Everyday we keep on fretting so much about life...yaar ye kharab hai....yaar ye aisa kyoon nahi hota.....we keep on telling others, "bas katt rahi hai"...or "nothing great"...such cliched replies flood our scrapbuks and our conversations..

But all of us wana really live better and longer and longer....

Question remains is WHY?

Hmmm....i dont know the answer, the real answer.
And i think, we hardly know any real answers to any real questions.
There had been and there are, great thinkers on life and all this.
I had been thinking on this, just like you all, knowingly and unknowingly,
and somehow this is what i think---

Whoever runs this whole matrix or maayajaal, i dont like to give a name to it, has kept one thing (or the only thing) very simple and that is:
How to keep humans or the mortals living?
How to keep them dying to live?

I dont know how this logic was put inside our DNA, but it is nothing but our love to live more, that keeps us living. Other way we can say that, it is the fear of that unkown, the death that keeps us living. That keeps us dying to live.

Just think of DYING the next moment and see how your soul and body and any other thing cries in, pains out.
Bigger than this fear of unknown death, is the uncertainity of its arrival to cause our departure, that makes the whole cycle of living & dying and living & loving it, even after dying every moment, go on and on.

But, as we all are mortals, so we are destined to face the unknown one day.
So, when many of us might get fed up of living and just decide not to live any more and finish this unknown cycle, then, what they can do, is to stop the cycle. That simply means break the chain, break the link in this evolution. And that further simplifies to stop creating life, which is nothing but reproduction cycle.
And here comes the second logic that has kept us humans live and evolve for so long, SEX. Thousands and thousands of years have passed, civilizations have come and gone, science & technology have pushed us beyond our imagination, but stil we all crave for sex. Nothing prevents us from it.Manifestations of it may be different but the desire for it is ever alive, ever burning and one of the most basic of all. Civilzed tag on our living has tamed the animal nature of sex, the crudeity of it, but it does remain there, disguised and hidden.

This is my first impression of the long human evolution and why we have been living and dying and yet wanting to live more.

I had a Dream

“I had a dream, and now, I have lived it”.
Yes, since last year, this world has seen the resurgence of the dark times. Centuries old icons have shattered like pieces of glass- places which were so sacred, that the only thing mortals had in their eyes was awe; those sky-daring avenues of power where arrogance was considered the virtue of the humble and green buck was nothing more than paper, all came down to gravels of reality and mortal life.

We all were pretty sure, that America’s century of unthinkable power and unquestionable dominance is getting closer to its last lap; it was in no way the fall, but the beginning of the fall for sure.

Dream.
Liberty.
Openness.
Opportunities.
Equality.
Capitalism.

They have been the real exports and I must correct it, the only real exports of this great democracy. As have already been accepted widely, that these are extraordinary times for the global economic powers and hence every all global economies, they will require extraordinary measures, extraordinary peoples, extraordinary intents and above all extraordinary LEADERS. And let me tell you one thing for sure, measures like a bailout aid of US$700 billion, is in no way an extraordinary measure. Yes, it’s not an extraordinary measure. This must give you an idea of how dark times we are into.

And just then, Barack Hussein Obama II arrives.

This world and this human race are not just facing a grim economic slowdown but a real thirst for global leadership, since when we haven’t seen a true global leader; a leader who inspires most, as I do believe we humans are too different to have a single inspiration; a leader who shares a life and a story with the most common of a man; a leader who takes responsibility when all looks frail; a leader who is so charismatic that even with no real power, he is being considered the leader of future, the leader of change.

(I don’t want to discuss about the dirt of the global politics or the petrodollar stories or the filthy nature of the American policies and dominance- if there is human existence and if there is life, there would always be two sides to every face or even more. I want to talk good and happy things, even if they are momentary and illusionary.)

The last leader that had an impression on me of some good sorts is Mikhail Gorbachev of the erstwhile USSR. I am not getting into politics or report card mapping of any of his contemporaries, but this is the only name that pops up in my subconscious mind, whenever I think of global leaders. I also pity our generation for the lack of iconic leaders, scientists, thinkers, spiritual gurus, artists, singers, rock stars, writers, etc etc.

But, right now, from some isolated corner of my heart or of some sixth sense, I am having a feel of a true leader on the horizon. And I don’t care of how much India would benefit from him, all I care is how much an individual like you and me and around the road side shop can look up to a person for, as a sign of hope, dream, change and the will power that resides in us.

He has just created history but now he needs to make it a golden one.

There is dead slow US economy, Iraq, terror, darkened American image, Iran and N. Korea and who knows what more, environment, etc. waiting for him to prove that he is the Dark Knight who brought back the White light to the White House.

And more than this, this is probably the last time to redeem the Americas of the Statue of Liberty welcoming every living dream with open hearts.

Baatein Chal Padiin Aankhon Ki...

Baatein chal padiin aankhon ki...
Roko na inhein abhi...Rok na na inhein kabhi...

Saansein lagiin milne..Tanha thiin abb takk...
Mil gayin saansein unkii....
